Privacy Policy

Overview

PaperFlow is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Camera & Photo Access

PaperFlow asks for camera access to scan documents, and photo library access to import existing images. These permissions are used only when you start a scan or import — PaperFlow never accesses your camera or photos in the background.

Your Documents

Every PDF you create, scan, or import stays on your device, inside the app's private storage area. PaperFlow has no servers and no user accounts — your documents are never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.

On-Device Processing

Text recognition (OCR), cropping, filtering, merging, splitting, compressing, signing, and annotating all run locally using Apple's on-device frameworks. None of it requires or uses an internet connection.

Analytics

PaperFlow does not currently collect any usage analytics or tracking data. If that changes in a future version, it will be limited to anonymous, content-free usage events — never the content of your documents — and this policy will be updated first.

Purchases

PaperFlow Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. PaperFlow never sees or stores your payment information — that's between you and Apple.

Data Sharing

PaperFlow does not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party, because it doesn't collect any to begin with.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the date above will change and the new version will be available here.
